I saw that collab yesterday. Its amazing! Thanks for the review. I use a Marshall Valvestate 8080, and i just shove an ordinary desktop mic in front of it haha.

I use the same for the vocals, possibly why they change haha.

i would suggest playing to a metronome

your riff are cool but your tuning and playing accuracy is a little off. also the drums are way over compressed they would sound good otherwise. keep at it and it will all come to you in time

I tried to spice them up a bit, added EQ effects, reverb, and a special plugin called Soundgoodizer, sounded fine by themselves, got screwed up in the mix...
I recorded to a metronome, as well as played a lot before it, and everytime I tune my guitar, it always becomes out of tune, no matter what I do, so I just do with what I have...
I need a new guitar >_>
