Solid bad ass porgressive black metal

Nice fucking song dudes the crumms are seventies quality but still sound good with the bass n such. I piano sounds like its not meshing well with the rest, like it should be a harpsichord or harp. and the guitars are a little low and could use wider panning. Vocals kick ass and are true fucking metal vocals! I wish he did some lines with duals, that would intensify it a whole lot.

You guys are on the right track, if i were you i'd ditch the piano or turn it way down. Your drummer kicks ass all over the place but could use some work on his double strokes to enhance the Drum roll parts. Nice to see some real metal up here.

Thanks man, this one was hard as hell, haha.
Those phased out things are still there, but on the other version, I used a dive bomb. I couldn't use my whammy for the full version, cause my guitar wouldn't stay in tune. So I cheated with a slide down, and the phaser didn't show through the mix as well :( Instead, I harmonized the leads there to make up for it. haha.

Pure evil

a little hip-hop-ish at the begining, but the scream into the double bass riff is sweet. its just the rap style part i dont did too much, and the end is pretty fuckin scary nice use of samples.

fuckin hell this shit is cool dude nice raspy vocal and WICKED doual guts! Then awesome vocal melody, this shit is super interesting! The drums sound a little weak and shit, nothing a little panning wouldn't fix. SOunds like someone who doesn't record metal bands recorded this.

Listen to my Born Into the Beast - Monolith song and yould hear that kind o' production.

Kick ass tuneage, worthy of the top spot.

Thanks a lot man. I really do appreciate it. The guy we worked with actually wasn't preparred for this kind of music so it isn't the best. Next time around we are hoping to have a better turn out. Check out some of the other stuff we have posted if you get a chance.

nice groove you got here dude

all it needs is a little more layering, dynamics and eqing. you are definatlly on the right path, try a little more variation in the riffs , like just change the endings ever second time or something. Experiment with different panning techniques. sthe breack down is pretty sweet but could use a little more variation as well, keep making songs and you'll get it in no time. Also try not to get set on the programs you are using to make music what ever you used makes it sound pretty crappified.

but besides all that stuff this could be a killer song with the right atmosphere.

I must say this is brilliant.

This chourus is perfect dude and a awesome show of vocal stretching, and the ending clean thing is sweet too, but i don't think the scream meshes very well.

SonOfKirk is a fuckin virtuoso man this kid plays with an amazing amount of maturity.
